# General Form of Quadratic Equation

General form of a quadratic equation is
$a x 2 +bx+c=0$
where a, b, and c are constants and a $\ne$0.

*Note that the highest power of an unknown of a quadratic equation is 2.

Example (Find the values of a, b and c)

Rewrite the following into the general form of a quadratic equation.  Find the values of a, b, and c.

(a)${\left(3x-5\right)}^{2}=0$
$\left(b\right)\left(x-8\right)\left(x+8\right)=10$
